My name is Kimberly Harvey, LMSW and I am currently employed at the Tarrant County Family Law Center as a Caseworker. I obtained my Master of Social Work (MSW) and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Jackson State University.

I am currently working towards a specialization in Trauma-Informed Care and Counseling at the University at Buffalo School of Social Work, Buffalo, NY to understand the implications of trauma and best practices to help children and families continue to grow and thrive as trauma survivors. I have diverse experience working with adults, children and families in various areas such as mental health, public health, abuse and neglect and legal issues.

 

I have also served on three panels as a Grant Reviewer with Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). I believe that recovery is possible, but it is a difficult path to travel without the right support. I wholeheartedly understand what it feels like to struggle or feel stuck. I am known professionally for being compassionate and patient. I want to help individuals get unstuck and continue making progress in life.
